Dinner at Ezzard



Ezzard is a beautiful restaurant at Adelphi Hotel, Flinders Lane in Melbourne. Decky had made reservation a week before our big day..( clearly he is more organized between the 2 of us ). We reached the restaurant at 825pm....1omins late as the taxi took awhile. Melbourne weather that night was a bit chilly... after being seated, the waiter served us with the wine menu and ciabatta with olive oil...yumm...i am starving and ready to eat!


What did we have that night at Ezzard??

French Champagne : Jacquesson cuvee 730 ( cant have anniversary without it)

New Zealand black ridge pinot noir 2005

Me : rice roasted baby snapper, moreton bay bug raviolo and spicy coconut laksa

Decky : red roasted barossa chicken, pean and mint frtiters, chiang kiang and shallot
caramel, roasted garlic foam
The food there is sensational!!!!... and for dessert we have Dessert Tasting Plate consists of all of the above....in small serving...Yummy!

warm pineapple bakewell, kaffir lime icecream and coconut foam
honeycrunch icecream with toasted gingerbread and sugar swirls
milk chocolate bombe, bitter chocolate tart and blood orange able
ezard summer pudding with creme fraiche and lime sorbet
roasted bananas with chocolate cheese and caramel ice cream
chilled rhubarb and mango crumble with vanilla ice cream and meringues

After dinner we went home....with a full stomach and an amazing dining experience
