HAPPY 31st BIRTHDAY TO ME!

MiZU with mates…

After the massive housewarming party last Friday and since Dat and Darren were here for the weekend. We were expected to do “gayish” things which is going out clubbing at the meat Market hotel.

We decided to have earlier dinner that day at Mizu… a Japanese restaurant in Greville Street. I haven't been to Mizu before but heard good review about it. We started with sushi and sashimi platter, vegetarian california rolls and my favourite Edamame.

Dat as a restaurateur, always the one who have to place the order. Dinner as always was fantastic…and having Dat and Darren back in Melbourne again is like a reunion… They are so much fun to hang around with…. always.

 

After dinner, we went to Mark’s place for champagne and decided to have kate with us. When we reached Mark’s some other boys are there as well…. There’s Mark ( from sydney), Mikey and his straight friend which I didnt click what his name was… sorry!

We went to the Market at 1130…. enjoyed our night and went home at 3am…. Still thinking I’m not missing much by not being put there…..Clubbing….

Banana, Ricotta Cheese and Honey on Toast

Declan made it this morning, very simple and easy but also yummy and healthy. What you need is the ingredients

Ingredients

1. thick bread (can use brown or white)
2. ricotta cheese
3. bananas sliced
4. honey

Method

Lightly toast the bread in the toaster or on the grill.
Thickly spread the ricotta cheese on the toast. Add the thinly sliced bananas and then drizzle honey on top….

Serve and Enjoy….

* if you prefer you also can bake the ricotta cheese for 30 mins beforehand in low temperature…..

Roast Din Din at Darren and Dat's

Oh my my.... yes... we're eating again. To Rain and Eddie... I am training hard to lose my weight occay.... but life is so fucking fabulous here.... as one of my staff member said...

"Jett... You always have friends cooking for you" and Hubby of course.... what to do? I do have a gorgeous partner and gorgeous friends... There!! I can use Gorgeous twice in a paragraph! 

This time we went to Dat and Darren's for Roast Lamb. Declan and me love roast dinner....Its soooo good. Dat is a very good chef and Darren is an amazing sous Chef... both great host though...

 

That sunday, both of us sooo looking forward for Dinner. Mark and Jeffrey were there too. Six of us.... Declan gave us a group name " THE GILDED LILIES "   So funny and we still dont know what we have to do with lilies though... LOL...

Jeffrey's ex, Themi who is a manager at Marcs gave us a hefty discount on Saturday when we visit his store... Hmm.. Rain... Lucky we got the shoes that you after... Although its 8 1/2.... Hope you'll fit.

 

Back to dinner... We decided to walk to COMO after to watch Vicky Cristina Barcelona.... It felt like a very long walk especially after all the food that we just had... Mark was panting and I so can see him struggling as he went out to The Meat Market the night before....and got LUCKY!

Hehe... The movie was allright. Very predictable life and love story. Nothing to be remembered.... W ended the night and went home...

Yummy Laksa... Chef Decky

Someone made malaysian laksa... hehe... Decky invited Mark to dinner on wednesday.... no reasons...just that its his first attempt to cook laksa.

Knowing that I love seafood, he cooked two different portion, one with seafood and one without ( for him ) as Decky is allergic to seafood....so no prawn paste and seafood in his laksa ingredient.

 

The laksa is very yummy!!! Serba serbi lengkap occay!!!  Very the sedap.... My Decky is such a good chef... maybe better than Gordon Ramsey???

Lunch with Dex and Timmy

Its wednesday after Chrissy.. I wasnt feeling so much at work... suddenly I received a call from Dex...they're outside my store...waited for me near the Marriot opposite the big Xmas tree...

and in his hands... delicious lunch boxes from Vue De Monde....Yummy.. Love you so much..
