Dinner at Ezzard

Ezzard is a beautiful restaurant at Adelphi Hotel, Flinders Lane in Melbourne. Decky had made reservation a week before our big day..( clearly he is more organized between the 2 of us ). We reached the restaurant at 825pm....1omins late as the taxi took awhile. Melbourne weather that night was a bit chilly... after being seated, the waiter served us with the wine menu and ciabatta with olive oil...yumm...i am starving and ready to eat!


What did we have that night at Ezzard??

French Champagne : Jacquesson cuvee 730 ( cant have anniversary without it)

New Zealand black ridge pinot noir 2005

Me : rice roasted baby snapper, moreton bay bug raviolo and spicy coconut laksa

Decky : red roasted barossa chicken, pean and mint frtiters, chiang kiang and shallot

caramel, roasted garlic foam

The food there is sensational!!!!... and for dessert we have Dessert Tasting Plate consists of all of the above....in small serving...Yummy!

honeycrunch icecream with toasted gingerbread and sugar swirls
milk chocolate bombe, bitter chocolate tart and blood orange able
ezard summer pudding with creme fraiche and lime sorbet

After dinner we went home....with a full stomach and an amazing dining experience

Anniversary gift shopping

Its a perfect anniversary, Dinner is booked, I've purchased a beautiful gift, got a card from kikki K... I'm off that Friday...I went out to get something for Decky. Lucky Eugene is free as well so I took him to Vic Gardens Fitness First for an hour workout.... poor Eugene...I drilled him like mad with my routines. hehe....

later we went to CBD..parked my car at QV for 2 hours park. walked up to Cactus Jam sale just to see some crap overpriced shit. We then adjourned to Little Collins St where nice boutiques are. I met Jose, my cute neighbour from the unit below mine. He works at Calibre ( menswear)... he does look very cute (he's my height..hehe) We chat for a bit and he keeps on mentioning about his girlfriend...

Jose: So...are u off today?

me : Yeah... I'm doing some shopping...going to get an anniversary gift for my partner... :)

I did nothing today....took my dog to the park this morning...gym..then here...

Jose: oh... really?... my girlfriend took our dog today...

me : haha...nice...

I cant remember what else did he chat abt...more abt his girlfriend...haha...Dont worry Jose...I am not trying anything...although you do look cute as a gay guy. LOL....

We then went to Leopold...our friend's boutique..(Shandor)...I bought this super sexy black shorts for $100...after discount..hehe..Thanks Shandor..I really looked cute wearing it. Thats my Sydney trip must wear!....then we went to this funky store near Flinders Lane, Eugene wants to have a look at Vivienne Westwood dog tag bling that is freakin nice...price tag?...$280.00...out of my budget this month.

Hmm.. we hooked up with Eason on our way out and he he wanted to go to Gucci. Since I am looking for a gift for Decky...I said yes. Gucci is as gordy as always. We're joking about a bright pimpy green jacket with a huge embroided G on the front chest. Haha.... the one that Missy Elliot would wear!

At Louis Vuitton, Eason looks for the new bag collection. I have no idea but clearly the guy who works there knows what he's talking about. Hehe... Leaving LV...empty handed with only Leopold paperbag...We went to Declic...( Declan favourite store) Eugene and me was stunned by this super hot guy who works there...and Eason knows him...His name is Ari ( mix Indo+Dutch). He looks like one of the Indonesian film actors...amazing eyes...cute kissable lips..oh my gawd. Hehe.. Eugene wasn't blinking while he speaks..and smiled at us. And..I got Decky a gift... A gorgeous snake skin belt...and since I have a VIP card for Declic...and I have spent abt $350 for his cufflinks on last purchase...I got $30 off on the belt! Now that is bargain!

....We left CBD at 6pm..tired of shopping....my Amex is whinging...hehe...I drove Eason home at Toorak and the Eugene to his apartment. Went back to see Decky with his Anniversary gift... Its nice to be able to pamper my love.... :) Happy 3d Year sexy....

Tired...Aching....Waiting...

Okay... I and tired and aching today. Its fucking 34 degrees out there...so hot! My biceps are aching from 4 days back to back training at gym... Mardi Gras is in a week and i need to look good for the party. If you noticed.. my arms getting a bit toned from last week. Having Hydroxycut and Protein Shakes diet really shows. Nevertheless working out with Maea and Dec on Saturday.... by myself on Sunday...with Yuan on Monday and on my own again today... Phew... I think I have a rest tomorrow but I am comfortable with the gym routine that I have now and I dont wanna stop.

Work today is a complete fucked up. So many customer with problems. Its the new Uni Students seasons again. We did average of 12 connections a day. Bonus..here we come... hahaha... I have 2 days to go for weekend again. Need to shop for new top to wear to Homesexual and Mardi Gras. Looking for a hot black singlet to wear that night.... Sydney....watchoutt!!!

Steamboat @ Eason's

Dennis is still in Taiwan, Last week (delayed post) Eason invited us to his place for steamboat. As always, he's an amazing cook. If we ( me, daniel and eugene) missed something home cooked...with belacan and sambal...Eason is our saving grace.

Invitation for dinner that night was perfect. We just finished watching Darjeeling Limited and was thinking what to have for dinner...tup tup...my phone ring.

Eugene : Aiya nyonya..what u doing tonight arr?

Me : Nothing liao...just finish movie only..what u want? Go out clubbing arr?

Eugene: NO laa..Chisin...clubbing everyweek..We are cooking Steamboat at Eason..Wanna come?

Of course I wouldn't say no.. So we arrived at Eason's in Toorak around 7pm after collect Daniel from his house. Daniel and Steve lives 5mins drive from our place. Then Yuan and Steve arrived to the party. Its great to catch up with them again.... The steamboat was sensational.. I just realized that this is Dec 1st steamboat experience ever! I need to "Asianize" my bf more....

Oh... we drank a lot that night. Eugene made this weird Long Island Tea... Dinner went on until nearly 12...( Eugene decided to put on Fifi dress and stilettos- Coco Lee - 3 kali tukar dress uols)
That was the 1st time I saw Eugene in drag...tho the mop lookalike wig got to go. We nearly convinced the drunken Coco Lee to go out that night to Diva in drag... haha... was sooo funny.

Tu gaji seminggu aku pun tak cukup!!! fantat tau!...baru verangan nak belikan Dec sejambak mawar merah kat flowershop depan Melbourne City Hall yang sangat menarikss iteww....terus tak jadik... yang ado cuma 2 kotak Krispy Kreme Doughnut jee...voley adik adik nak kurus makan donat hari Valentines?

relax and unwind...

Time to relax and unwind....weekend is here. Its a sensational morning. nothing better than getting up early for the food market. We met Dirty Denise and Allison. Mind you...i am looking forward to see Declan giving faces at Allison annoying " You have this..I have this too but better"... hahaha
Spent $100 on groceries and foods, check out this yummy fat cherries!!! Nice!!! we bought half a kilo for snacks. We're snacking on fruits now...dear Mardi Gras. I am now mengidam milo 3 in 1... uols know how hard it is to find it? most asian grocery shops has Nescafe 3in1..not Milo!..me and dec went up to QV laguna ...the biggest smartest funkiest haha...Asian Grocery store in Melbourne....Lucky I got em!!!

Walking at Fawkner park today is spectacular. The sun is shining with cool breeze. Its like its not summer. There's a lot of people playing cricket. Uols....i dont know why people here likes cricket so much. I think its just a silly game.. wearing white...running and batting the ball.... uuh... anything that doesn't involves hot bodies in speedos or tight lycra in sports...then no. Oh...since its saturday and of both of us on offday, my offdays are friday and saturday and dex on the weekends so we only have saturday to spent time doing things together. We decided to watch a movie at Cinema Como...


His pick this time is Darjeeling Limited. A funny quite catchy flick about 3 brothers on a spiritual journey in India on Darjeeling Limited train express... If you havent watched it...I would reccomend it.. its one of those kind that you have to spend time watching at the cinemas rather on DVD..or pirated ones...:)

Walking back from Como, we stroll along Chapel Street to perve at boys and window decals...hehe...I stopped at Lacoste looking for a new wallet...not to buy...maybe just to browse. I still cant afford to shop yet from the trip back and Dex birthday gifts. This month pay will go straight to AMEX and maybe next month will be okay again. There is nothing at urgent need anyway to buy at this time... Owh... and we got rained on the way back!! haha...we stopped at the gay Cafe 151 and got takeaway coffees and fare evade on the tram home ( just 3 stops lah... its raining anyway! )

Its has been raining this few days...unlike normal Melbourne summadays...its getting colder. I think the stinking hot days are gone... i kinda missed working in chapel st..when i can perve at hot boys with their top off...now in melbourne central is nothing more than a shopping mall. no sexy topless hot boys in sight... haha...

I went to vic garden gym today. it wasnt busy but i just dont feel like working out. I saw this hot lean blonde at the changing room...vivalicious hot lean body. Nice..i thot...why cant i have that kinda body... damn... i was thinking the other day to get a personal trainer again. Maea is good but i didnt see any changes in my body when training with him... i want that chisel abs...hard biceps...he is a great trainer but into stamina and stuff....i dont need PT for that...i can just go to bodystep and bodypump for cardio.

Work has been keeping me so busy these days. I have to go in early...work harder than before. I like working in Melbourne Central...but i cant find time to go gym anymore. I woke up at 7 now...left the house at 8 after taking veuve to the park every morning. Reached gym at 8:30...work out for 45mins...then have shower to be at work at 9:30.

After work..i got so tired...and try to fit my life to write blogs..chat with friends...tv....and then sleep. Its a circle over and over again. I'm not fed up yet with the routine...but kinda close. Denise asked me today...when am i gonna start looking for another job?... I dont know... I got 45k per year now... if i want a new job...it has to offer more than that. I'll think about it after Mardi Gras.

Chinese new year is here again
This year we went to Westlake Chinese Restaurant in Little Bourke St ( Chinatown lehh!!) There were 9 of us .. ( Me, Dec, Paul, Teh, David, Eugene, Eason, Steve and Yuen)...We meet up in front of the restaurant about 8.30pm ( now its dark about 9ish).... Chinatown was buzzing with people celebrating New Year. Dilemma...

I'm in dilemma...

how am i supposed to lose all this Mummy Food and mamak stall foods fat in 4 weeks? before Mardi Gras of cos... starve myself? I think I starve enough... I have Hydroxycut twice a day... my diet consists of protein shakes for breakkie.... 2 peanut butter toast and coffee for lunch and protein shakes for dinner....


I go to Bodypump classes at gym 3 times a week... the other 2 days are cardio and weights.... Help... I am still fat...nothing really changes. I wanted to make believe that my body is getting defined...but its not!


I was a chubby kid... and my teenage years I have always been chubby. Still remember when I cried in the car cos I'm too fat, jealous looking at my best mates, Rain, Mel and Eddie dancin on the podium at Blueboy.... I got really skinny...(thanks to Mama Rain...he deserved all the credit) to make me realized being Gay and overweight is not something that I wanted. ( no offence, everyone have the right to choose what they wanna be)... I turn really skinny around 20 years old... and I think I look fabulous.. haha


Now I'm reaching 30... my youthful days was 10 years back...and I am in the same spot. Back to step 1!... Fat.... I want to have that hot body... Please tooth fairy! Let me be Gorgeous!

Spunky new shoes...

Who am i kidding? I still cannot resist the temptation of shopping... even for another tshirt...bear in mind that i have shopped for 20 teez while in KL and Bkk. I saw this one at Steve Madden while buying Dex new shoes... Owh..I have bought a pair as well from Aquila.. a white ones. Poor Eddie...I was dragging him all around KL shopping malls for the whole day looking for white shoes but there's no size or not the right one.. Good news sweetie..I found one in Melbourne and its just $199... hehehe....I still like the Pig Skin Lining one at Tangs tho..the RM$750 one... that would be really spiffy.
Dec gave Veuve a wash today... hehehe...he's sooo cute when he's wet!...I still remember when he was 2 years old and look like a rat when he's wet...now not anymore. He's 5...and that in human years is 35! He looks very clean now..and smells of Dog Shampoo..not that he ever smells bad. I think he's one of the most pampered dog in the world...well except for Paris Hiltons pups.
I took Deccy to Dish @ The Royce Hotel last night. Sorry we didnt take our phones so there's no photos. Its quite a grand restaurant tho... we had..hmmm...

I have a feeling that February going to be really fast... even this year will be on forward mode this time. We ( Me, Daniel, Eugene, Eason, David and 2 others) went to Heavens Door last night. Yes..Its friday and the scene sucks. We had too much to drink and I was nearly grasping the walls

Arghh.. afer 3 sambuka and 2 tequila shots… my head starts spinning around! Without Kylie and her shimmering hot pants. Heavens Door became the most happening spot in the city… just to us . After we left heavens door, and jump into Diva and start binge drinking again….

On our way next door to the Market, Eason wasn’t looking very well. The drunken tofu lady started to bafs. Walking journey back to Eugene’s took us 1 hour cos Eason keep on sitting down on the roadside…and falls asleep. Haha…. Poor kiddo.

When we reached his apartment, tuck him to bed and we walk back to the Market. I did have a fabbo time...Dancing my night away..

A small night of mine lasted until 6am….then its my turn to hit the sack!!! ZzzzZZZZ

Oprah vs. Tyra... that what’s on my mind while spending my Friday off afternoon. Tyra blob on interracial dating- and the gay couple. Justin and Jimmy, the asian shampoo boy! Haha…. The definition of a rice queen and potato queen… is completely salah. To his conclusion Potato Queen are asian who hated himself and his own kind…and goes for white guys.

While Rice Queens are old saggy soon to die out of market white guys who find Asians boys hot after reaching 60. Haha…. I wonder where Tyra find such pathetic crying bitch.
At least Andrew is cute… the guest boy from the audience!

My tummy grumbles…what should I have for lunch? I don’t know yet where to take Deccy for his birthday… I just emailed Ezard @ Adelphi to book for tomorrow…looks like there’s little hope as they only responds within 36 hours after booking. Maybe I should try Dish at Royce Hotel instead. Hmm… then if Ezard called I’ll cancel Dish… brilliant. I wanted to take him to Gingerboy too but we’ve been there before. Maybe this time take him somewhere new.

356pm – ended up having pita from Nando’s. Now I’m full…. Veuve is sunbaking outside the balcony. He probably is bored. Nowhere to go on Jett’s offday… poor sweetie. The sun still very bright outside... I hate the hot sun. Not that I have no spiffy sunglasses to wear...

I was chatting with eddie today.. he have to go to work on public holiday. Ouch! :(
