I'm very "the stressed" lately....don't know why?... Had 3 days off since yesterday...cleaned the apartment and doing fuck all. This morning Deccy took me to Peninsula Hot Springs. We've been there before with Maea and the gym gang after torturing session of boot camp... only this time...no boot camp...just both of us..chilling out.
Mornington is about 1hr and 30mins drive from Melbourne....Its not hard to find the spa if you know where to go..... we ended up lost in nowhere for 30mins....
Dec : Do you know how to read the Melways (Map)? Where are we now? What turn should we take?
Me : I cant find where we are… this Melways is 4 years old lah!! Not updated!... there is no street name supposed to be here…
Dec : Hurry up.. Can you look up where we are….Do we turn left here??
Me : Shut up… I don’t know… You should stop and look in this map. Where’s your phone ? I’ll use the GPS instead…( while setting up the GPS on the Nokia N95 )
We ended up not knowing where we going… when I finally manage to work the GPS, it took us to a dead end dirt road…. We argued in the car and made a phonecall to the spa just to been told that there is 2 roads under the same name…. “Devonport Drive” that we’re on at that time is the wrong one… we have to drive back where we came from and find another Devonport Drive where the Day Spa is situated!!! With the help from the lady giving us direction via phone… we managed to find the place…. Pheww….
The Spa was fabulous. Its divided into 2 sections… the public baths with the great unwashed…and the exquisite Private baths comprising of 5 small huts with private hot baths. After registration, they provide us with bath robes, towels and slippers…. Then they took us to the relaxation room where they serve tea and we sat there for a few minutes until one of the girls greet us and showed us to our hut.
Sorry…no camera at the venue so I cant take any photos… hehe…The hut is surrounded by trees and covered by fences. When she left… we looked around and “naughtily” decided to skinny dip instead… hehe.. its soooo fun going naked in the hot water pool…its like feeling safe and fear of getting caught at the same time… lol…Hope they have no cameras on site or else they would see our dingdongs all over the shop…..
The weather was cold but the fantastic warm 38degrees water was sensational!... we stayed in for 30mins…that feels like forever!.....nice….
When the bell rang…means our time is up…. Declan went for his foot massage and I lounged around the relaxation space…sipping my calming tea and reading my National Geographic Mags… that what I called a day spa!
