Packing Light

At melbourne airport as I'm blogging this. Waiting for Virgin Blue flight to Sydney to depart 1415.... we bumped into Johnny Beaumont with his friend... (sorry forgot his name)... Johnny been working with VB for a year now. Loves flying....

Our tummy growl for some food so we headed up to High Tide for chicken scnitzel and Devil's Lair sauv blanc... I wish I could upload some piccies here but it will become too big for the screen... Lifecast should make an option for us to resize uploaded piccies... Oh well.

The airport not very busy... we printed our boarding pass on self service kiosk... I look pretty dagy... Being a plus size model without any fabulous wardrobe to wear is bloody hard... Kimora !!!! Help!!!

Asian men are the heaviest smokers in the world. The Tobacco Atlas, published in March revealed that in 2008 China headed the global top 20 with with 311 million male smokers- more than the entire population of the US. India came next with 229 million male tobacco users.

Indonesia comes 3rd and Japan comes 5th after USA. Thailand is in 18th place. Malaysia is not listed… wonder why?

Women smoke most in the US (23.6 Mil) and China comes in next with (13 Mil).

What Time Do I Wish It Were?

Hometime….Yeah. That what I felt today. The day went past so slowly. The city was asleep to the retail world today. My store did 2 new connections for the whole day! 2??? All the plans and handsets has been offered to the lowest price… but still the store was empty…

I went home about 5 today. Since its quiet I really wanted to leave earlier as I started at 8am…but I dont want my team to see me keep “curik tulang” going home early all the time. Hmmm….

I got home before Dex did… the ride home was uneventful…just listening to my music with the new bluetooth headset that I took from work.

Phased out from the general public…

After feeding Veuve, we waited for Dex to get home so he can take Veuve out. We normally took turns…. I’m already wearing my singlet and p.j….. don’t really wanna go out again. Hehe…

Its getting more cold as winter is approaching soon. Its not going to be snowing and as cold as UK… but its cold enough for me. I do love winter and spring….especially in Melbourne where everyone dressed up in long coat and designer jackets. Very phancy!!!

I haven’t packed yet for our Sydney trip on Friday… Going to Darren’s and Dat new place… its a gorgeous modern art deco apartment with white on white finish… they have impeccable taste in furnishing… And we’re going to see Declan’s family on Saturday lunch… and Bronwyn over dinner.

Yay….. A short trip away will cure my boredom… for awhile :)

Errr I know I have to save money for my holiday… but there is a few things that i have been eyeing on….

I bought a new pair of black leather shoes to wear with my new work uniform…. So I choose this one…….

Its by Alexander McQueen… cost me about $299.00 from Calibre…. but then I saw this one on display…. too bad it wasn’t black…  Its also Alexander McQueen………

Come on… You have to say that baby is Gorgeous!!!!

Viva America

Its a very quiet monday. I woke up 10mins late. Really not in the mood to go to gym… I told Dex that I’m too sore to work out… cheewahh…. gitew.. He went back to bed and thats why I overslept…. Hehe…

As usual CBD was a bit quiet. Its was pissing down rain in Melbourne today ( good grief, we need the rain) After getting my routine Latte with 1 sugar… I asked Dale ( the coffeeshop owner) for a plain croissant.

Nothing unusual at work… just another freaking monday except everything seems to be broken. The printer wont print, 3central application was really slow, the POS machine fucked up….stock missing…and massive delivery of 18 boxes of handsets and only me and Sel receiving all of it. FUCK THIS….

I went home late today, one Korean customer could not decide between Nokia e71 or Nokia e75… which makes me really annoyed. Damn…why dont you go home and have a sleep about it and come back when you know what you want?

Since its still drizzling, I took the new Kew tram. Half way on St Kilda Road, the tram suddenly stopped and we all got stuck there for nearly 40minutes. Its too far to walk and I am wearing my leather shoes….so I decided to wait. People started getting anxious as there was a long pause with no announcement with whats going on. After a mere 20minutes, a chinese guy voice emerged

“Soli Laties and Jentelmen, The St Kilda Load Tlam will be delayed due to a Tram malfunction on Commercial and St Kilda Load. We will be moving shortly in about 10minutes”

Shortly in 10minutes????  Damnit.. Lucky I have my iPhone so I keep on twittering away… ( By the way..if you Twitter – let me know your id )

I reached home about 6….Declan already at home and took Veuve to the park. There are also 2 parcels waiting for us… One is the G-Star Jacket that we purchased online…. and the other is from the AMERICAN CONSULATE.

My heart stopped. After not so flash experience waiting for 2 1/2 hours at the Consulate last week….for a 10minutes interview… and not to mention paying $200 for a bloody tourist visa to the States…. NO is not an option…..

I carefully cut the Express Post Platinum envelope…and PLAP!! off my red Malaysian Passport!!! Thats strange, no paperwork comes with it…Hmm… In there, I saw my stamped Tourist Visa to UNITED STATES  Of AMERICA…. and the best thing was…. its valid for 10 yearsssss!!!! 10……

SO NEW YORK & SAN FRANCISCO …. HERE I COMEEEEE!!!!!!

Banana, Ricotta Cheese and Honey on Toast

Declan made it this morning, very simple and easy but also yummy and healthy. What you need is the ingredients

Ingredients

1. thick bread (can use brown or white)
2. ricotta cheese
3. bananas sliced
4. honey

Method

Lightly toast the bread in the toaster or on the grill.
Thickly spread the ricotta cheese on the toast. Add the thinly sliced bananas and then drizzle honey on top….

Serve and Enjoy….

* if you prefer you also can bake the ricotta cheese for 30 mins beforehand in low temperature…..

New Look….

Yeah.. I changed my blog.. no more picture of half naked male as a banner or to be seen. I wanted it to be personal and real… more about me. Plus I know I would never look like that in my lifetime anyway… sad but thats the reality. :)

What did i do today? Not much. Chillin at home…watched tele, had white chocolate and raspberry muffin with latte from the coffeeshop downstairs is a saturday ritual for us. And morning paper of cos.

I’ve downloaded a few free tracks from Nokia Music Store to my Nokia 5800… they also have malay songs…. so I am listening to Amy Mastura album at the moment… eeerrr..Dingin Malam.

We went to gym this afternoon. I really need to lose 10 kilos in 3 months. I cant believe I’m back to my FAT weight at 70kg now. I really need to get back to at least 60 again. My GStar jeans wont fit…and I have been wearing the same Calibre black jeans and Energie ones over and over again. I cant shop…cos I dont want to waste money on oversized pants or shirt…. and now I look awful!!! :(

Declan promised that we have to get back to exercising and  healthy food. Less carbs…no more dessert and ice cream… Waaaa….Goodbye Homer Hudson!!!! But I need to look fabulous.

I went to Simon Masquerade Birthday party just now… at Cafe Dior… I wore my pink jacket..wanting to look fabulous but I'm too fat to look anything close…. I have 3 months to lose this fat… Wish i can just ZAP it!!! Just like that!!!!

Make Peace With Myself

Its been a challenging time at work lately. This new store that i am working at consumed most of my FUN life that I normally have. I think its mostly stress too much workload that been creeping up to me lately.

I know… people says if you dont like what you’re doing….then get a new job. Quit… only you can change yourself. Trust me… I want to. I’ve send my cv online to all these companies but still no luck. At this time I really have no direction on where should i take myself to.

There is too many wants, and too little get. The girl that get the manager job that I wanted quit last week. She cant handle it, and that proof that my regional made a huge mistake by giving the role to her. I tried to apply after she left but instantly got put down. I dont think its racism… she just dont like me.

Oh well… I will not bother anymore. Anyway being a 2ic is much better. I can have my holidays, less responsibility. I am still looking for a new job too…. wish me luck.
